Close financial budgets

Start from: The Analytics dashboard.

Accessing the budget closure module

  • Navigate to Financial Statements > Close budgets.

  • A table will display all registered budgets along with their details. The table consists of the following columns:

    • Budget: Displays the name and purpose of the budget.

    • Business Unit: Identifies the associated business unit.

    • Year: Specifies the year of the budget.

    • Month: Indicates the applicable month.

    • Status: Shows whether the budget is Open or Closed.

    • Closed by: Identifies the user who locked the budget (only visible if closed).

    • Open or Close Budget: An interactive toggle allows switching the budget status.

Closing a budget

  • Locate the budget you want to close. You can use the Filter or Filter by Business Unit to narrow down the search.

  • Select the toggle in the last column to change the status to Closed.

  • The Closed by column will now display your name and the date of the closure.


Closing multiple budgets at once

  • Select the Close all button at the top of the table.

  • All budgets in the list will be locked simultaneously.

Reopening a budget

  • Select the toggle to open an individual budget.

  • If necessary, select the Open all button to revert the closure.

  • The budget(s) will return to an editable state.

Review user logins to Mapal OS

Start from: The Mapal OS Configuration module.

  • Navigate to User Management > User Logins.

The User Logins screen shows you a grid with five columns: name, email, profile, last logged in, and type.

On this screen, you can also find a series of features:

  • Search: Use the search button to find users by name or email.

  • Filter: You can filter by period (from, to) and by user profile.

  • Export to CSV: You can export all the data visible on the grid to a CSV file.

  • Counter: Placed in the header, it shows the number of user logins.

Preview surveys in Reputation

Start from: The Reputation dashboard.  

  • Select Configuration > On Site

 

  • Select Surveys

 

You can preview surveys during creation or open existing surveys to preview them.  

  • Select the survey from the Surveys grid OR select + New to create a new survey. 

 

  • Once inside the survey configuration, select the Preview button. 

 

  • In the preview window, you will be able to: 

    • Review colors, fonts, logos, and other design elements to ensure they match your branding and are displayed correctly. 

    • Run the survey in a pre-publication mode to identify any issues and ensure everything functions correctly. 

    • Confirm that all branching paths, conditional questions, and the overall order of questions are logical and coherent. 

  • You can always select Return to go back to the configuration and adjust as needed.  

 

  • Use the responsive panel to preview the survey in desktop, tablet, and mobile version.  

 

  • Select the Restart button to start the survey again.  

If you are creating a new survey, follow all the steps for survey creation and then select Preview.

Review received feedback

Start from: The Mapal One dashboard.

  • Select Career > Evaluations from the main menu.

  • Select the Evaluations tab.
  • There’s a side panel where you can see the evaluations given, received, and create new evaluations. Select the Received tab in the side panel.
  • You’ll see a list of all the evaluations received. Select the specific evaluation you wish to review.

  • The Feedback Received from window will appear with an overview of the evaluation. Here, you’ll be able to see:
    • Name of the evaluator
    • Role
    • Branch
    • Total average
    • Name of the evaluation
    • Score
  • Select See All Answers to view the detailed responses of the evaluator.

  • Once the evaluation is reviewed, you can select Return to go back to the evaluation overview OR X to return to the list.

Manage chat moderation for flagged messages

Start from: the Engagement dashboard

Note: Only Engagement admins with the Can moderate reported messages permission can access the Reported messages page and take moderation actions. This permission does not require full Level 0 access, making it suitable for local or regional moderators.

Supervise employee modification proposal

Start from: The Workforce module.

  • Select Workforce Management > Supervise Proposals from the main menu.

  • Choose the Work Center where you want to carry out the supervision of the employment condition modification.
  • Select the Status of the proposal to be supervised.
  • Under Supervision, choose between Supervised, Unsupervised, or All proposals.
  • Select Edit if you wish to make any changes to the proposal.
  • If you want the proposal to appear as supervised, you must select the Gray Circle next to the proposal. The circle will change to green, reflecting that the proposal is now Supervised.

Connect to Google My Business

  • Once you add Reputation as user to your location, go back to the Reputation module in Mapal OS.

  • Your business will now appear in the Business Units table. When the location is linked, it is displayed with the red Google icon.


Notes: To properly link the location to Reputation, you need to have the location verified in Google My Business. See Verify your business on Google.

Understand Sentiment and Visibility

Start from: The Reputation module.

Sentiment

  • Select Sentiment from the main menu.

Sentiment analyses the written review rather than the score. For example, a customer may make a mistake and post a review that may have a score of 1 and a review that says the restaurant is excellent, in this case, the score is low, but the sentiment is high. 

The following graph analyses the percentage of positive reviews versus total reviews.

The following section shows the evolution of the reviews according to their nature, the percentage evolution, and the variation compared to the benchmark.

Understand photo analysis

Start from: The Reputation module.

  • Select Photos from the main menu.

You’ll find two tabs in the Photos menu: Dashboard and Photos.

    • In Photos, you’ll find the photos that have been uploaded.

    • The Dashboard shows graphs that analyze the photos in which food or people appear.

The following graph shows the number of men and women that appear in the photos and average age.

 You’ll also find a breakdown of the types of food that appear most in the photos.

Find documents within a procedure (app)

Start from: the Compliance App.

  • Select My Location > Procedures.
  • Select a specific procedure (Food Safety, for instance):

Within this procedure, you will find documents under the heading Local/Central documents.

Note: you can also add/remove local attachments via the gear icon. You can only change the local description on the web.
