Enable uptake rate management on a menu template
- Select Menus > Menu templates.
- Select from the list the menu template on which you want to manage uptake rates.
The template sheet is displayed:
- Select Workforce and service settings.
- Select Edit.

Note: If the menu template includes several services, select the one on which you want to enable uptake rate management.
- Enable the Enable uptake rates option.
- Specify the uptake rates for each dish in each meal item in the Forecast workforce table.
- Select Save at the bottom right of the template sheet.

Note: You can select the copy icon visible next to the Monday workforce and uptake rates. This allows you to apply the same information to all active days of the week.

Duplicate menus from one template to another when uptake rate management is enabled
It is possible to duplicate menus from one template to another on the same site or even on another site. By default, when the destination template (the one to which you are duplicating menus from another template) has specific uptake rates, those uptake rates will be respected. You will get the menu from the original template, but the workforce may be different.
If you want to duplicate the menus AND the uptake rates applied to them on the original template, make sure to check the advanced duplication option Copy the workforce and structure of the original template to the destination template.
Note: Duplicating menus and uptake rates set on the original template does not change the uptake rates set on the destination template. Thus, if you manually modify the result of the duplication on the destination template, the uptake rates of that template will then apply again to the items you modify.
