Smart Analysis in Engagement

What users can do with it
Smart Analysis in Engagement can help you make better use of your internal communications data by revealing patterns, summarising activity, and comparing results over time — all from the current screen view.
You can use it to:
- Summarise activity across communication channels: Get an overview of recognitions, news posts, and suggestions to understand what topics and updates are generating the most interaction.
- Identify engagement patterns: Spot which locations, teams, or roles are contributing more (or less) to your communications, helping you address imbalances.
- Highlight recurring themes in survey feedback: Quickly understand the topics employees mention most often, whether positive or negative.
- Compare engagement before and after events or announcements: See how internal communications campaigns, policy changes, or recognition initiatives have influenced employee participation or sentiment.
- Track changes in sentiment over time: On the Survey answers page, Smart Analysis considers the completion date of each response, allowing it to detect trends and shifts across different time periods. This is especially valuable for recurring surveys or long-running campaigns, where you want to measure whether engagement or sentiment is improving, declining, or stabilising.
- Spot emerging issues early: By combining sentiment analysis with date-based patterns, the assistant can reveal concerns that are gaining momentum before they become widespread.
- Identify improvement opportunities: Use location or team comparisons to see where engagement is strongest and apply similar strategies to areas with lower activity.
Things to keep in mind
- Smart Analysis only works with the data currently visible on screen.
- Adjust filters, date ranges, or team selections before launching the assistant if you want broader or more specific results.
- If the output feels incomplete, check whether your current view includes all relevant data.
