Summary
This release adds a new capability in Flow to include Surveys directly within Collections, alongside several improvements to sign-in experience, menu access to support and legal information, Workforce Library visibility, AI Assistant continuity, and mobile update prompts.
Enhancements
Flow / Engagement – Surveys appear inside Flow Collections
When a Survey is added to a Collection in Flow, it now appears inside that Collection in Mapal One alongside learning content. Colleagues open and complete it in the familiar Surveys & Polls screen, and completing it counts towards the Collection.
Why this matters
Collections can now gather feedback as well as deliver learning in one place, without colleagues needing to search elsewhere.
Key benefits
- Everything in one place: Surveys sit within the relevant Collection.
- Familiar experience: Uses the existing Surveys & Polls screen.
- Progress that adds up: Completion contributes to Collection progress.
Improvements
Signing in – A faster, cleaner start
Signing in is now quicker and tidier. The loading screen remains until Mapal One is fully ready, so colleagues land in a complete app. If Flow is momentarily unavailable, Mapal One opens without waiting.
Why this matters
The first moments after sign-in set the tone. Mapal One now feels ready the instant it appears.
Key benefits
- A complete first screen: No half-loaded pages after sign-in.
- Reduced waits: One product no longer holds up the rest.
- Works everywhere: Applies on web and mobile.
Menu layout – Help and legal information, easier to reach
The Mapal One menu now includes a dedicated Support option on web and mobile. On mobile, colleagues can also access privacy policy and legal terms, including Mapal’s.
Why this matters
Help and information about data use should be simple to find and access.
Key benefits
- Support in one tap: Clear access from the menu.
- Legal and privacy on mobile: Everyone can read policies from their phone.
- More transparency: Mapal’s own terms and privacy policy are included.
Workforce – Library only shows when it contains documents
For customers using Workforce only, the Library now appears in the menu only for colleagues who have documents, and opens those documents directly.
Why this matters
Colleagues avoid empty pages and reach documents faster.
Key benefits
- No empty pages: Library appears only when content exists.
- Fewer taps: Goes straight to documents.
AI – Assistant upgraded to the latest shared version
The AI Assistant in Mapal One has been upgraded to the latest shared version to ensure uninterrupted operation as its underlying service moves. The assistant looks and behaves exactly as before.
Why this matters
This maintains continuity so colleagues can keep using the assistant without disruption.
Key benefits
- Uninterrupted help: Continues working through the service move.
- Up to date: Aligned with the shared assistant version used across products.
- No retraining: Same look and behaviour.
User experience – A friendly nudge when a new app version is available
When a newer version of the Mapal One mobile app is available, colleagues see a clear, non-blocking prompt. They can update immediately or continue and update later.
Why this matters
Keeping the app up to date ensures the latest improvements reach colleagues sooner, without interrupting work.
Key benefits
- Always informed: Clear prompt when an update is ready.
- Flexible timing: Update now or later; the app remains usable.
Note: Availability on iOS may take up to 24 hours due to Apple’s review process and will require updating the app to the latest version.
