Features & Enhancements
Big and bold additions to the product.
New functionality that changes what you can do.
Evaluations - Simplified question builder
We removed the “go to section” option from the Questions UI when building evaluations. The underlying logic remains in place, but the option is no longer visible, keeping the interface cleaner and more focused.
Why this matters
This simplifies the question builder experience by removing options that are not needed in most cases, helping users focus on building evaluations without unnecessary complexity.
Key benefits
- Cleaner interface: Removes unused options from the question builder
- Simpler experience: Helps users focus on relevant configuration only
- No functional impact: Existing logic and evaluations continue to work as expected
Improved area and region syncing
We improved how areas and regions sync to Engagement, ensuring that records can still be synced even when this information is missing.
Why this matters
This prevents syncing issues caused by missing area or region data, ensuring users and records are not blocked due to incomplete information.
Key benefits
- More reliable syncing: Records can be synced even when area or region data is missing
- Reduced manual effort: No need to populate all fields before syncing
- Consistent data handling: Missing values are handled in a clear and standardised way
View Survey questions (even when live)
We now allow users to view the questions of a live or responded survey in the builder format, in read-only mode. A new “Show Questions” option is available, opening the survey structure without allowing any edits.
Why this matters
This makes it easier to review survey content and structure after it has gone live, without risking any unintended changes.
Key benefits
- Safe visibility: Users can review survey questions without the risk of editing
- Familiar layout: Questions are displayed in the standard builder format
- Clear guidance: Users are informed when editing is not allowed
Hide tags from Agile Feedback forms
We hid the section of the Agile Feedback form that allows users to select or create tags. Tag functionality still exists, but the option is no longer visible in the form.
Why this matters
This simplifies the form by removing functionality that is no longer actively used, helping users focus on the core fields without unnecessary options.
Key benefits
- Cleaner form layout: Removes rarely used tagging options from the interface
- Simpler experience: Reduces distractions when completing the form
- No impact to existing data: Tag functionality remains supported in the background
Updated “What’s New” link in Engagement
We updated the “What’s New” link in Engagement to direct users to the new Knowledge Base location for Engagement release information. The link now opens the updated Knowledge Base category page, ensuring users can access the latest release information in the correct location.
Why this matters
The previous “What’s New” link directed users to an outdated release page. This update ensures users can more easily access the most relevant and up-to-date Engagement release information.
Key benefits
- Consistent experience: Aligns Engagement with the current Knowledge Base structure
- Updated navigation: Users are directed to the latest Knowledge Base location
- Improved access to release information: Employees can more easily find current Engagement updates
Bug Fixes
Issues we have resolved.
Fixes to improve stability and reliability.
Communication posts can't be edited when summaries exceed character limit
We resolved an issue where users could not edit or save communication posts when the summary exceeded the character limit.
We increased the limit to 250 characters and added a clear error message when the limit is exceeded.
Inactive employees receiving Engagement communications
We fixeded an issue where inactive employees could still receive communications from Engagement, even though they were no longer employed.
Email sends now correctly respect employee and user inactive statuses, ensuring communications are only sent to active individuals.
Push Survey becomes unavailable at the start of its configured end date
We resolved an issue where Push Surveys were treated as expired at the start of their configured end date, causing them to disappear too early from the Push Survey list and homepage carousel. Push Surveys now remain available for the full configured end date, allowing employees to access and complete surveys until the end of the final valid day.
