Employee profile overview
We introduced a centralised employee profile page in Engagement, giving managers and HR users a clearer view of an employee’s overall engagement and activity. The profile brings together key information including survey and poll participation, recognition activity, suggestions submitted, and communication activity.
Why this matters
Employee engagement data was previously spread across different areas, making it harder for managers and HR users to quickly understand how someone was participating across the organisation. This new profile view provides a single place to review participation, recognition, and communication activity.
Key benefits
- Better visibility: Quickly understand recognition, participation, and communication activity
- Centralised overview: Key employee engagement metrics available in one place
- Faster insight: Managers and HR users can identify engagement trends more easily
- Better employee insight: View participation, recognition, and communication activity together
Chat analytics accuracy improvements
We improved how chat channel membership is synced so that future chat engagement metrics are based on accurate team access. This ensures users are removed from chat channels when they lose access to a team, while preserving access where users still belong to other teams. Chat functionality continues to behave as it did previously, with no chats lost.
Why this matters
Accurate chat insights depend on reliable team and channel membership data. If users remain in channels after losing team access, engagement metrics can become inflated or misleading. This improvement helps make chat analytics more trustworthy by ensuring channel membership reflects current organisational access.
Key benefits
- More accurate chat metrics: Engagement data now reflects current team access
- Improved sync reliability: Team and channel updates now follow a consistent process
- Safer access handling: Users retain valid team access while invalid memberships are cleaned up
Bug Fixes
Issues we have resolved.
Fixes to improve stability and reliability.
Improved handling of inactive learners within Engagement: We resolved inconsistent behaviour affecting inactive learners synced from Mapal OS into Engagement. Inactive learners could previously appear differently depending on their historical sync and employee record state, with some learners displaying as “Former Employee” while others remained visible with their original details despite being inactive. This improvement provides more consistent handling of inactive learner records within Engagement.
Forums not automatically syncing following location updates: We resolved an issue where forums were not automatically appearing within Mapal One for learners after location updates were made within MOS. Learners assigned to the correct business unit could only access forums when manually added as Additional Employees. Forums now sync correctly based on the learner’s updated location and business unit settings.
