Overview: As a restaurant manager, you may want to add a reservation lead time (sometimes also called a "pre-order lead time") to a supplier product to manage deadlines and ensure the product is available on time. This guide will walk you through the process.
Starting point: The Easilys menu.
Entering a pre-order lead time for your products allows Easilys to suggest a consistent minimum order date on the SUPPLIER ORDERS screen, and alert you if a scheduled delivery date does not respect this lead time.
These lead times are also taken into account in the order preparation assistance on the ORDER PREPARATION screen and can be targeted for production report editing on the PRODUCTION screen.
Method 1: From the Mercuriales screen
- Select the Products > Mercuriales tabs.
- Select the mercuriale containing the product for which you want to add a pre-order lead time.
The mercuriale appears on the screen.
- Select the product name.
- The product information management panel appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the pencil icon in the first column "Supplier product" of the panel.
- Enter the reservation lead time.
- Select Update to save your entry.
Method 2: From the Products administration - V2 screen
- Select the Products > Products administration - V2 tabs.
- Select the product from the list, using the search filters if needed.
- Select the arrow icon to display the suppliers for this product.
- Select the desired supplier product so it appears on the right side of the screen.
- Select Edit.
- Enter the reservation lead time.
- Select Save.
