As a restaurant manager, you want to manage product families to benefit from relevant analysis, grouping, and search criteria. This guide will assist you in this process.
Starting point: The Easilys menu.
The product family allows you to qualify a product. It also allows you to analyze your purchases according to these families or to search for products by their family using the filters available on various screens. It also allows you to associate an analytical group and a tax with the products attached to this family.
Create a product family
- Select the Products > Product families management.
- Select + Create.
A creation form appears on the right side of the screen.
- Complete the required information. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
The Analytical Group cannot be entered at creation. After confirmation, simply return to edit it to indicate it. - Select Confirm.
To create a new family, select "None" as the "Parent" family.
To create a new sub-family, select a "Parent" family other than "None".
Edit a product family
- Select the family or sub-family you want to edit.
Its details will appear on the right side of the screen.
- Edit the desired items.
- Select Update to save your changes.
Delete a product family
- Select the family or sub-family you want to delete.
Its details will appear.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm your decision by selecting Remove.
If you need to delete a product family to which one or more sub-families are linked, you must change the parent family of the associated sub-families or delete them all, otherwise the parent family cannot be deleted.
