Overview: As a restaurant manager, you want to enter the actual service counts in the tracking table, the actual numbers of services provided, in order to obtain the actual food cost price, to maintain accurate records and adjust service levels. This guide will help you through this process.
Start from: The Easilys menu.
The information entered here is used in the “Food cost price” tab.
Indeed, the food cost price is calculated by dividing the net consumption by the total service counts, under these three conditions:
- purchases have been made,
- stock removals are completed, and,
- the day is validated in the service counts table.
To be able to enter the service counts daily, you must first have created your service counts tracking table, as explained in the article Create the service counts tracking table.
- Select the Management > Service counts tabs.
- Choose the day on which to enter the service counts in the calendar. (1)
- Enter in the box (2) the total actual quantity of the service type.
Note: if you have several types of services, you must complete all totals before validating the day.
- Once the Total actual quantity column (2) is filled in, select Validate at the bottom of the page. (3)
You can see that a day has been validated in the calendar because the day appears in a blue square and when you select it, the "Validate" button is replaced by a red "Delete entered counts" button.
