In some of your recipes, you may want to add tap water as a component. In this case, you must first create a specific price list. Indeed, for Easilys to be able to value a recipe, all generic ingredients listed in its components must be linked to a product. If one of the ingredients is not linked, Easilys cannot proceed with the valuation, which may also block the valuation of your menus later on.
Starting point: The Easilys menu.
Follow these three steps:
1. Create a supplier record
- Select Products > Suppliers.
- Create a supplier record RECIPE VALUATION.
- No need to detail the record, just enter the label.
For more information, see the article Create a new supplier record.
2. Create a price list
- Once the supplier is available, create a price list linked to it. This price list will allow you to add the product TAP WATER.
For more information, see the article Create a new price list.
3. Create a product
- Create the supplier product TAP WATER.
Note: Be sure to link it to the generic ingredient TAP WATER.
- Leave the price at 0.
- Then add the ingredient TAP WATER to your recipes.
Easilys will then be able to value the recipe.
For more information, see the article Create a product.
Note: These elements are generally created on the root site. All child sites can then benefit from them by inheritance.
Note: If you are working on a child site, be sure to check that this is not already available before you start creating. Simply go to the Purchasable items screen and search for TAP WATER.
