Enhancements
Rights management and My rights – two new screens to understand and control rights
Easilys now offers a new way of managing rights, with two complementary screens.
Rights management (Sites menu, for administrators): all the rights of a profile are managed in a single screen, together with the pages and actions they relate to. You can turn a right on or off in one click, or all of them at once; copy the rights of another profile, export or import them (for example from one environment to another), and filter to find a right or to spot those that appeared between two Easilys versions. The Comparator places up to 6 profiles side by side, shows only their differences and lets you correct them on the spot. Each right has a clear name, a description, a category, and a marker when it involves personal data.
My rights (from the user's name): each user sees, in read-only mode, the pages and actions they are allowed to use, and can hide or show screens in their own navigation menu, without affecting the other users of the same profile.
Why this matters
Knowing which right opens which page, what sets two profiles apart or why a page is not visible used to involve a lot of trial and error. Rights become readable, both for those who manage them and for those who use them.
Key benefits
- Understand what a right allows before assigning it, thanks to its name, its description and its link with the pages
- Set up a new profile faster (copy, import, bulk activation)
- See in a few seconds what sets two profiles apart, or what was added after a version upgrade
- Let each user know what they can do, without asking the administrator or support
Menu quantities – record why a headcount was changed
In Menu quantities V2, a context (reason and comment) can be entered on a consumption day, for the whole site or for a given menu. Reasons are chosen from a list managed from the context panel: reasons inherited from parent sites and reasons specific to the site. Dedicated rights allow users to view, create, update and delete them.
Why this matters
When a headcount is changed, a colleague can see why, without chasing the information by phone or email.
Key benefits
- The reason for a changed headcount is visible directly on the day
- Shared reasons across sites, for more consistent information
- A context set on the whole site or on a single menu, as needed
Menus – a second cost price calculation method, chosen per site
Each site can now choose its cost calculation mode: weighted unit cost (default) or cumulative service cost. With cumulative cost, a day's cost is the sum of the costs of its services, and a week's cost is the simple average of the days concerned. The chosen mode applies to the cost of the days and of the week in the Menus screen (the other cost remains visible in the tooltip) and to the unit cost price in the performance indicators window. The menu financial reports (by category and by site) also provide the cumulative service cost.
Why this matters
Easilys calculated a day's cost as an average weighted by the headcounts of its services. Some customers reason differently: for them, a day's cost is the sum of the costs of its services (for example lunch + dinner). The new method comes in addition to the current one, without replacing it.
Key benefits
- The figure displayed matches what teams expect
- Each site chooses the method that fits how it manages its costs
- Nothing changes for sites that keep the current method
Supplier orders – spot the orders that need action right from the list
The colored indicator at the start of each card now shows, right in the list, which orders need action (for example supplier holiday, non-orderable product, quantity below the minimum), with the detail of the errors on hover. In Track orders, unsent order cards show the same indicator, and the list is more compact. The order comparison is now launched from the order detail, to the left of the report print button.
Why this matters
Until now, orders had to be opened one by one to spot a delivery or supplier holiday problem. The status is now directly visible in the list.
Key benefits
- Orders to process spotted at a glance, without opening each card
- The cause of a problem readable on hover
- The same indicator in Supplier orders and in Track orders
Other enhancements
- Menu quantities V2: when all the recipes of a menu are at 0 (for example after resetting headcounts), recipe headcounts are now distributed using the menu template's intake rates when they are enabled, instead of each recipe receiving the full menu headcount.
- Price list import: some fields can be kept unchanged during an update.
- Moving a site: the move is refused when a recipe tag held by that site or by one of its child sites would no longer belong to a site in its hierarchy; the move screen lists the tag and the sites concerned.
- Information messages: pasting images is no longer allowed, for technical reasons; text and formatted content can still be pasted.
Stability and fixes
- Imports and exports: several issues fixed on customer and supplier prices, recipes, products and external invoices.
- Interfaces: Ouilink and Orion work better, as does profile synchronisation with Mapal OS.
- Supplier orders and receptions: several issues fixed.
- Recipes and menus: several issues fixed.
- Production, packaging and stock: several issues fixed.
- Start-up: the application starts again for users whose profile does not give access to supplier invoices.
