Enhancements
Tag-based management of the Supplier Network – A new way of managing supplier availability across sites
A new supplier network management feature simplifies supplier management in multi-site organisations.
The principle is based on linking ‘Supplier Network’ tags to suppliers and sites, so that only the relevant suppliers (and their products) are available at each site.
It is still possible to manually assign suppliers to sites..
Why this matters
Previously, multi-site availability required creating supplier-site links one by one. Tag-based availability reduces manual work while retaining manual control when needed.
Key benefits
- Faster, scalable supplier availability management.
- Fewer manual assignments across sites.
- Works alongside existing manual linking.
Direct access to the help.mapal Help Centre
The Knowledge Base and What's New links in Easilys now point directly to the help.mapal Help Centre, which centralizes tutorials and release notes for Mapal products.
Why this matters
This provides easier access to up-to-date documentation and release information in one place.
Key benefits
- Quicker access to help content.
- Centralized tutorials and release notes.
- Smoother navigation across Mapal products.
Menu Quantities — "Menu Week" report
The "Menu Week" report is now directly accessible from the Menu Quantities screen, reducing the need to switch to the Menus module.
Why this matters
Menu Quantities is frequently used by teams who may not access the Menus module. A direct acces improves operational efficiency.
Key benefits
- Faster access to a frequently used report.
- Fewer context switches between screens.
- Foundation for exposing additional menu reports in this screen.
Performance — Continued optimization
Ongoing performance improvements span Order Preparation, needs and production reports, menu-related processes, and Rights Management, with a focus on environments handling large data volumes.
Why this matters
Consistent optimization enhances responsiveness and user experience, particularly in multi-site contexts.
Key benefits
- Faster response times in common workflows.
- Smoother navigation.
- Improved experience at scale.
Other enhancements
- In screen "Order cutoff schedules", the maximum configurable order cutoff period is extended from 14 to 30 days.
- Import/export mechanisms are harmonized across modules to standardize handling of id and extId identifiers.
- Supplier tokens generated from the administration screen now expire after 50 years.
Stability and fixes
This release also includes stability work and usability refinements across core areas.
- Improved formatting and localization consistency in updated screens.
- Refined costing behavior for menus and related historical values.
- Enhanced reliability in equipment intervention workflows.
- Strengthened integrations and data flows, including EDI and supplier import scenarios.
- More robust access management behavior in Rights Management.
